Don’t miss wing night at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 183 in Marathon every Thursday Night.   They have a wide variety of wing flavours, along with combo platters and more. Wings are only $6 a pound.  Age of Majority is required.

Bike Rodeo

Various Community Partners in Geraldton have teamed up to host a Bike Safety Rodeo for Children ages 2 to 7 on Monday, June 10th at the Geraldton Complex.
There is no cost for this Event. Children are encouraged to come with their Bikes and Helmets.

Bingo

Aroland 1st Nation, Aroland United Women’s Group and Aroland Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Committee presents Aroland 1st Nation Special Monster Bingo  at the Johnny Therriault Memorial School on Saturday, June 1st.
Doors open at 10 am and the Bingo starts at 12 pm.
1st Jackpot is $5,000. 2nd Jackpot is $10,000 and the 3rd Jackpot is $15,000.

Interested in becoming a licensed trapper?

Are you interested in becoming a licensed trapper? A fur harvester, fur management and conservation course will be offered in Terrace Bay (possibly end of May, exact date to be determined) register now!  Maximum 10 students!  This hands on program, involving 40 hours in class and practical field experience, will allow you to apply to the Ontario Fur Managers Federation for licensing.  For more information or to register contact Jeff or Vikki Macdonald at 825-9332 for more information.

Fill-a-Truck Event

The Canadian Diabetes Association’s Clothesline®   I program is asking for your help to fill a truck.  On Saturday May 25th between 12pm and 4pm our truck will be parked at the Marathon Canadian Tire located on 3 Peninsula Road.
