Poker Rally The Hornepayne Snowmobile Club is inviting you to the Snowbears Annual Poker Rally on Saturday, February 11th. Registration will take place Uncles Restaurant and Lodge between 11 am and 1 pm with a final check in time set at 4 pm. Registration is $25 per participant. All sleds must have a valid 2012 OFSC Train Permit, special event 1 day permits will be available. Snowshoe Festival Epic Adventures in Nipigon is having a Snowshoe Festival on Sunday, March 4th starting at 11 am at the MNR Building. Bingo The Holy Saviour Fund Raising Committee will be holding their next Bingo on Thursday, February 9th. There will be mini games, early bird, regular games and 2 specials. 4 on 4 Hockey Tournament There will be a Mens 4 on 4 Hockey Tournament in White River on March 2nd to the 4th. The cost is $450 per team which must consist of 6 players plus a goalie. The grand prize is $1000.00 plus there will be more prizes to be won. The Deadline to register is Wednesday, February 15th. There will also be a live band at the Curling Club on the Saturday night. Family Downhill Skiing Day There will be a Golduster Family Downhill Skiing Day on Saturday, February 18th at the Manitouwadge Ski Hill. There will be a bus service for the 1st 40 people who have signed up. A waiver will need to be signed for the bus which will leave the Marathon Centre Mall at 9:30 am. If you are taking the bus, you must be signed up by Monday, February 13th, call 238-1100 ext 4770 to register. Rentals will be first come, first served. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an Adult.
